YMCA After-School Registration Now Open for 2025–26
Registration is now open for the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s Before and After-School Enrichment (BASE) programs for the 2025–2026 school year.
These programs offer a safe, welcoming environment where elementary-aged kids can learn, play, and grow through hands-on activities in arts, STEM, literacy, and physical play.
Flexible Program Options
Families can choose:
– Full-time care: Monday through Friday, before and/or after school
– Part-time care: Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday (availability varies by site)
Participating Schools in Seattle
YMCA BASE programs are available at:
Arbor Heights, Bailey Gatzert, Boren K-8, Concord International, Fairmount Park, Rainier View, Roxhill, Sand Point, Thurgood Marshall, and West Seattle Elementary.
Registration Dates
– April 22 at 6:00 AM: Current BASE and Early Education families (and siblings)
– April 29 at 6:00 AM: YMCA of Greater Seattle facility members
– May 6 at 6:00 AM: Open registration for all families
Financial Support Available
The Y accepts subsidies from Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) and the City of Seattle Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). Additional financial assistance is also available.
